Patient's history

The doctors of Vienna Wellness will ask questions to get as accurate a picture of the problem as possible. The patient may be asked about working conditions, previous diseases, operations, medicine taken, as well as general questions about their lifestyle.

Examination

In addition to testing the patient's joint and muscle functions with neurological and orthopedic tests, our center also utilizes x-ray diagnosis and Electronic Meridian Imaging (EMI) to determine if the condition is biomechanical, musculo-tendino or bone related, or due to nerve injury or energy imbalance. If necessary, we will send the patient out for additional imaging such as bone scans or MRIs.

Diagnosis and treatment

Once we have determined the cause of illness, the doctors of Vienna Wellness will determine the most effective treatment protocol for you. This will usually consist of a combination of spinal decompression, myofascial release, phototherapy, acupuncture, spinal adjustments, rehabilitation and/or herbology.
